I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for a year – it’s been so much fun! As much as I enjoy sharing recipes and writing posts about my plant-based journey what I love most about my blog is YOU! Yes, you, my readers and all of the people I’ve connected with through Honk If You’re Vegan. You’re like my second family and I love you guys SO much!
A BIG thank you to all of you for reading and for your support. That’s the main thing I wanted to say, but I’m also going to share my favorite posts of the year. There’s a little something for everyone here. Enjoy!
But before I get to that, I want to mention that I’ll be on vacation next week so I won’t be blogging for a while. I’ll see you all in mid March when I get home.
Now here’s my Blogiversary roundup:
Let’s start with something fun – brownies! The most searched term on my blog is “healthy brownies”, so here’s a recipe for Super Fudgy Healthy Vegan Brownies.
Go Dairy Free!
I’m a BIG proponent of going dairy-free. It’s much healthier for you (and for cows too!). And it’s easier than you’d think. Here’s a few posts on why and how to wipe off that milk mustache.
My Favorite Post
Kidnapped – Julia’s Story is my all time favorite post. It’s got a plot twist that will shock you!
Quick and Easy Plant-Based Dinners
I don’t know about you, but I like to eat tasty, healthy vegan meals without spending a lot of time in the kitchen. Here are some easy plant-based meals that are sure to satisfy.
Amazing Sugar-free Treats
Sugar is a no-no on the plant-strong diet I follow. This isn’t a life of denial as you might think because you can make AMAZING sweet goodies without sugar. Here are some of my faves:
Transitioning to a plant-strong diet is what got me to start a blog in the first place. If you don’t know what this diet is, check out What is a Plant-Strong Diet?. And if you’re still curious, then read Is a Plant-Strong Diet Too Extreme?
Health is wealth! Here are some posts to eat your way to vibrant health.
After transitioning to a plant-strong diet for my health, I discovered how badly the animals that we eat are treated on factory farms. This made me want to help animals to live better lives. Here are some posts about animal welfare (you might also want to read Kidnapped – Julia’s Story that I mention above).
I blog a lot, and once in a while I even blog about blogging. Here’s what I’ve got to say about that.
Help me improve my blog!
I’d love to hear from you what types of posts you’d like to see more of (or less of) on my blog. What do you like? Is there anything that I should just stop writing about? I really appreciate your input!
