I started seeing a physical therapist last week to help out with some neck pain (probably from too much blogging – hehe!). Anyway, I was excited to hear that my therapist is doing a 21-day raw vegan challenge. I saw this luscious recipe and had to share it with her (and with all of you, of course!).
I know, without any doubt, where my sweet tooth comes from. I have a certain family member who just LOVES chocolate. Not only is this an annoying addiction to have inherited, but she makes a brutally honest judge. Nothing sweet that I have made so far has really impressed her. The usual response is that it is ok, but she would rather have a square of chocolate. Until I made this…
It is sweet, sticky and incredibly indulgent. And it is completely sugar-free, gluten-free, raw and vegan, packed full of amazing healthy coconut oil, lots of fibre from the dates, and tons of nutrients and vitamins from the nuts. Words cannot do justice to how good it tastes – something this delicious shouldn’t give you glowing skin, a clearer mind and a natural energy boost! So put down the chocolate and go and make this… Ingredients:

Guess what. I’m going to the doctor tomorrow for NECK PAIN! Isn’t that weird? And…a pain in a neck??
Do you think from blogging?? No kidding?
You’ve got neck pain too? Oh girl, I guess we have to spend a little less time at our computers – hehe!! Good luck with physical therapy chica! Celeste 🙂
Funny! Computers WERE mentioned at the appointment. Now on copious amounts of Alleve! Working better work posture and ice. Hope you feel better!!
Aw thanks! I’m getting there! 🙂
I’ve had constant neck pain for years, way before starting my blog!! Don’t stop the blogging ladies!!
So sorry to hear that – what a bummer!!! You haven’t found anything to give you relief? And don’t worry, I have no intention of quitting on my blog. Celeste 🙂
I’ve had endless treatments Celeste and baffled lots of people!!! It’s ongoing from a car crash many years ago 😕
I really feel for you Elaine – that’s rough! I’ve been suffering for a few weeks and it’s no fun at all. I was in a car crash some years ago that caused me some neck problems too. I’m wondering if what I have now is partially a flair up from that.
It really could be, Celeste, my crash was 20 years ago but the problems have only started in the last few years. The body holds onto so much!!
Now you’re talking. I have such a sweet tooth 😀
I’m a pain in the neck as well 😉
Have a lovely weekend my friend. Ralph xox 😀
Are you the culprit of my neck pain Ralph??? Well if that’s the case, then I’ll have to do something about it. Then again, I kind of like you so maybe I’ll just live with the pain. Celeste 🙂 PS – I have a serious sweet tooth too!!!!
Yes. I admit it. It was me !! 😉
I hope the physio can sort you out so that you are pain free. xox
Looks very yummy!! =)
It sure does!!! I still haven’t tried it, but I’m gonna make them soon. Thanks for reading chica – I always love hearing from you!! Celeste 🙂
I just had to share the recipe on Facebook also. Nice to hear from you too my friend. 😀
You could bring these to the Picnic I am having honoring nominees for the Sunshine Award! Smiles, Robin
These do look great, but I’m bringing brownies to the picnic chica!! 🙂
Just put the word “chocolate” on the title and I’m gonna click on it. Not just chocolate, but “Gooey Chocolate”?! Thanks for sharing!
p.s. I know whatcha mean about neck pain due to much computer use. I’ve been getting strained eyes too lately too. But I blame my online classes, then blogging, then my online classes, then blogging (hehe). Happy weekend to ya!
Chocolate always gets me too, that’s why I post about it so darn much! Anywho, I hope your neck and eye get better chica. Aches and pains are, well a pain in the you know what! Have a lovely week! Celeste 🙂
Omg these bars are making me hungry…… DEF GOOEY AND SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!
And they’re even pretty healthy chica, so eat up!!! Celeste 🙂
These are still my favorites of your most recent posts! They just look scrumptious, Celeste! I am expecting these at that long ago planned picnic. Or another one to be yet announced! Hugs, Robin
Hehe – okay then!
