Raw Berry Cream Brownies

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from blogging it’s that I LOVE BROWNIES! Ok, I guess I didn’t need my blog to inform me of that. Still, I’ve shared a lot of brownie recipes here and I’m sharing another one today. I couldn’t help myself – these raw brownies Emma whipped up are so lovely, luscious and believe-it-or-not healthy!

Coconut and Berries

We interrupt today’s scheduled post for chocolate! I had something else planned for today but then I made these and decided I had to post them straight away. Not that you shouldn’t be excited about my next post of course, but chocolate is always prioritized.

Raw Berry Cream Brownies

I’ve been baking up a storm in my kitchen recently (more on that to come soon…) and as much as I love doing so, admittedly I don’t feel my best after eating a ton of flour, even if it is wholegrain.

Avoiding flour and still enjoying a sweet treat is no problem at all though when raw desserts are so darn delicious!

I’ve made many a raw brownie in my time but almost always date and nut based ones. I thought I’d go down a different route this time and try and replicate a cooked brownie texture. It was certainly a fun experiment and a…

Delicious 🙂 How do you manage to get your recipes to lok so fabulous on your website? When I post a recipe,it always looks silly. 🙂 Great Post

    • Hehe – this is not my recipe or my photo, so I guess my secret is using other people’s awesome recipes!! I do post some of my own recipes, but I’m not the best photographer, so I think my food photos often look silly! I did recently buy an expensive camera and took a 2-hour photography class. This has helped me to take better photos, but I still don’t think I’m as good as a lot of bloggers. I haven’t been doing this for very long, so I’m sure I’ll get better.

I also think you’re being too hard on yourself!! I’ve seen some of your recipe posts and I think they’re great. Your Shepherds Pie, for example looks wonderful!! Here’s the link in case anyone is interested. http://www.peace4animalscornwall.co.uk/2013/10/vegetarian-shepherds-pie_20.html

I wrote a post that highlighted what I learned in my food photography class. Here’s the link if you want to check it out: http://honkifyourevegan.com/2013/06/11/what-i-learned-in-my-food-photography-class/

I’m also curious, are you on BlogSpot and WordPress?

Have a lovely Sunday! Celeste 🙂

        Hallo Celeste 🙂

Thanks for the Wonderful reply, I too love your posts too. Your blog looks so professional,I always enjoy reading it.

Yes,I have had a blogspot blog for about two years, but I moved over to wordpress because i find it a friendlier place, where people actually chat and comment ect. Blogspot is a lonely existence in the blog world. I keep the other blog updated, simply as a resource now. I tend to use my wordpress account more these days.

You too have a wonderful week 🙂 Adam

  2. Thanks so much for featuring my brownies Celeste! I hope you get to make them sometime and that you love them as much as me 😀

    • It’s my pleasure to feature your brownies Emma!! I saw them and I was blown away by how yummy they look and how healthy they are. I certainly will make them, maybe for the holidays!!

You can interrupt my schedule anytime Celeste! Please do! 😉 I checked out coconut and berries – cool blog and post. Goes without saying that I like brownies but I also really loved the very pretty colored berry cream. What a good idea.

I just put these in the fridge, and now I wait… I’m a little nervous, I never made a raw recipe before and I have bad experiences when it comes to using coconut. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
