The wonderful wellness blog, BerryRipe, shared their list of The Top 50 Vegan Blogs of 2013 last week. I loved this post! I admit that this is in no small part because I’m on this list. Thank you BerryRipe – I’m touched.
I had fun checking out the other top vegan blogs. Here’s a few posts that caught my attention:
1. Vegan Deep Dish Pizza by Vegan Yack Attack
This Vegan Deep Dish Pizza reminds me of the pies I used to get at Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar and Grill in San Francisco. Except this one is cruelty-free and comes without the heart attack risk.
2. Asian Cashew Quinoa Salad by Vegangela
I love Asian dishes with peanut sauce, but this Asian Cashew Quinoa Salad takes yum to the next level with a cashew sauce. I’ll be trying this for sure!
3. Va-Va Vegan’s How I Found Heart in New York
The author of Va-Va Vegan is a certified vegan lifestyle coach and educator, and How I Found Heart in New York is about her training at The Main Street Vegan Academy. This post blew me away because I didn’t even realize there was such a think as a vegan lifestyle coach. Hmmm…maybe I need to go back to school!
4. A Dash of Compassion’s Roasted Eggplant Hummus
Hummus has become one of my favorite foods – I put it on everything! Because I eat it so much, I like to try different recipes, and this Roasted Eggplant Hummus looks yummy!
5. Cupcakes and Kale’s Green Tomato & French Lentil Soup
The weather’s getting chilly, so it’s time for soup. This Green Tomato & French Lentil soup looks rich, hearty and perfect for Fall.
6. Bitter Sweet’s Have a Bigger Slice of the Pie
Have a Bigger Slice of the Pie is a sweet post about blogger Hannah’s lovely new book, Easy as Vegan Pie. Oh my gosh, there’s some tempting pies in this book like New York Cheesecake Pie, Mud Pie and Figgy Pudding Pie.
7. BerryRipe’s Sweet and Salty Baked Sweet Potato Chips
In addition to looking through the 50 top vegan blogs, I’ve also been scanning BerryRipe’s recipes. These Sweet and Salty Baked Sweet Potato Chips look delicious!
That’s only a sampling of the wonderful posts I found on BerryRipe’s Top Vegan Blogs of 2013. So get yourself over there and check out these fab blogs!

Congratulations being on the 50 Top Vegan Blogs, you deserve it! I received the nomination, too, but did not respond to the survey due to travels so I didn’t end up on the list 😦 I guess I didn’t take the nominations seriously 😦
Have a great week.
Hey Rika! List or no list, your blog is top notch girlfriend!! I honestly don’t know how you manage to blog so often with all the traveling you do. One of these days I’d like to do a blog post about you and your vegan travels. I really think your blog rocks! Celeste 🙂
What a fun post! I don’t know that I could go vegan, but I admire those who do and will gladly learn from afar. Many thanks for your visit to food for fun. Now I get why you don’t want the bacon jam 😉
Hey there Liz! Thank you so much for stopping by and for the follow – I really appreciate it! And yea, no bacon jam for this chica – haha! I’m so glad we’ve connected and I look forward to getting to know you better. Celeste 🙂
Thanks for posting Celeste, I have favourited all of the recipes to try in the future. The Roasted Eggplant Hummus looks amazing! 😀

I’ve had sweet potato fries, but never sweet potato chips. I will try that for sure, and probably with the pepper and salt! Celeste, the honking vegan – honk, honk!
