Meat: Hmm…
“dead, rotting, decomposing flesh of carcasses. Doesn’t sound like something you’d want to eat, huh? Not to mention the pesticides, hormones, steroids, and antibiotics. Oops! We almost forgot mad cow disease, bird flu, salmonella, E. coli, trichinosis, and mercury.”

Heck yeah!
Thanks for reading Rika – you’re awesome girlfriend!! Celeste π
MEAT IS SO GROSS!!! I’ve been a vegetarian for over 20 years, never miss it. Walking through that part of grocery stores always makes me gag. What a smell. π¦
Thanks for your support Geraldine! I’m curious, what made you go vegetarian? I also wanted to let you know that when I checked out your latest cookbook on Amazon I discovered that you’ve written lots of books including a novel. I’ve wanted to publish a book for years, and I’m always impressed with people who actually do it. Congrats girl – that’s impressive!

Reblogged this on Vegan Lynx.
Thanks!!!
You’re welcome. π
Ewwww…
Haha – would have been a good post for Halloween!
How can that be appealing to anyone?!
I don’t know, I just don’t know!! Celeste π
Their book ‘Skinny Bitch’ was the turning point for me going veg π
Well that’s something you have in common with Lia Michelle from Glee. The Skinny Bitch turned her into a veggie too! Celeste h:)
Cool! Never knew that…
I love that book, one of the first I read and one of the most memorable. When you define ‘meat’ like that.. it certainly changes things..
I loved the book too! Kim and Rory are so much fun. Celeste π
If meat was so delicious why do people have to cook and season it, to disguise the flavour?
Good point girlfriend!!! Celeste π
Ewww! Yet again I feel terrible about my occasional meat eating moments. Have dramatically reduced my meat intake over the last few years (with the exception of seafood). I read the comments. Have to read the Skinny Bitch book.
It’s wonderful that you’ve cut back on your meat eating – that’s something! And hey – I love that chia jam you recently posted. It looks amazing!! Celeste π
