Meat: Hmm…

“dead, rotting, decomposing flesh of carcasses. Doesn’t sound like something you’d want to eat, huh? Not to mention the pesticides, hormones, steroids, and antibiotics. Oops! We almost forgot mad cow disease, bird flu, salmonella, E. coli, trichinosis, and mercury.”

MEAT IS SO GROSS!!! I’ve been a vegetarian for over 20 years, never miss it. Walking through that part of grocery stores always makes me gag. What a smell. 😦

    • Thanks for your support Geraldine! I’m curious, what made you go vegetarian? I also wanted to let you know that when I checked out your latest cookbook on Amazon I discovered that you’ve written lots of books including a novel. I’ve wanted to publish a book for years, and I’m always impressed with people who actually do it. Congrats girl – that’s impressive!

I love that book, one of the first I read and one of the most memorable. When you define ‘meat’ like that.. it certainly changes things..

  5. Emy Wilhelm says:

If meat was so delicious why do people have to cook and season it, to disguise the flavour?

  6. oiyoufood says:

Ewww! Yet again I feel terrible about my occasional meat eating moments. Have dramatically reduced my meat intake over the last few years (with the exception of seafood). I read the comments. Have to read the Skinny Bitch book.
