In my recent post, Mambo & Me, I wrote, “There’s no such thing as hair-free clothes in our house.” Blogger Emy from Fur Out of the Closet responded with the above quote. I’d have to say that I agree with her!
I had a photo of a fur coat on this post (what was I thinking!), but I removed it due to popular demand.

I have to tell you, when I was scrolling through my reader, and I saw the image, I said to myself, “seriously? who am I following that would post fur coats?!”

I know Sophia! I was trying to be funny, but I guess I put my foot in my mouth! I actually took the photo down because few people were looking at it. I didn’t want the photo to keep people from seeing the quote, which I thought was so cute. I took down the photo down and blamed you and Stacey in an attempt to be funny. I guess I’ll won’t make it as a comedian!! Celeste 🙂

Thanks for redeeming me, but I decided to take the photo down anyway. Fur coats don’t belong on my blog, on people (unless they made them from their couches) or in closets. I really appreciate all of your thoughts and support Stacey!! Celeste 🙂
I am so sorry, I hope I didn’t offend you, Celeste! I loathe the fur industry, but your post made sense and I had a giggle out of it. I think it’s important to show the bad as well as the good for information purposes, so please don’t monitor your blog based on what I wrote. I was surprised to see it, but as I wrote, then I read it and it made sense! You have a wonderful blog, and I love reading all your entries! Keep it up, and thanks for the support from YOU. 🙂
No worries Stacey!! I wasn’t offended at all. I know you guys just got a giggle out of it. To be honest, the reason I took down the photo was because hardly anyone was looking at it. I think the photo was preventing most people from seeing the quote I wanted them to see. I was just playing with you and Sophia with blaming you guys for taking down the photo. All in fun!! That’s the thing with the written word, you can’t see the smirk on someone’s face. Celeste 🙂
It is great to see so many people who are against the fur trade:) People who wear fur have no self-esteem and are disturbed to condone this abhorrent industry.
