whimpers cries and squeals. just imagine if that package had my face and my name on it. whimpers. one you’ve played with, joked with and laughed with. XOXO – Bacon
I think you’re one lucky pig, Bacon. Your mom loves you and she would never even think about eating you. No worries!!
Nods little head. Nope my mommy doesn’t even eat pork 🙂 XOXO – Bacon
Yea for your mommy!!
Classic quote! ❤
Thanks! And thanks for the follow too – I appreciate it!! Celeste 🙂
That’s exactly one of the main problems, disassociation from what is packaged as meat, and the animal people are actually eating! Love this.
I couldn’t agree more! When I was eating meat, I never thought of it as an animal. I’m sure I would have become vegan a long time ago if I had to kill the animals I ate. Great comment – thanks!! Celeste 🙂
I think veggie dog sales would really take off! 🙂
Haha – that’s for sure!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I really appreciate it. Celeste 🙂
I think it would be a good idea…maybe then people will start to make the connections.
I think it’s a GREAT idea, but you know those big meat companies would never allow it. Celeste 🙂
maybe we could do it. we could start and underground and have labels made with pictures and names and then quietly go the meat section (god I can’t even walk by the meat section without gaging) as if we were making a purchase and then we discretly start slapping lables onto to packages……….hmnnnn………….hmnn………
Haha Ivonne – you crack me up girlfriend! If you’re game, than I’m game. Of course, we might get arrested, so we’ll have to pack toothbrushes. Celeste 🙂
but we wuldn’t be breaking any laws that I can think of..ok how about this since we don’t want to tamper with product, how about we make up postcards and leave them in between the packages? We can wear wigs, hats and sunglasses and gloves so we wont be detected by security cameras…..I’m telling you I think we can do this. In all seriousness I have thought about doing something like this.
You’ve got balls chica! I like the idea of putting postcards between the packages better, but do I have the balls to do it? Hmmmmm…. I don’t know. I could just see myself getting so nervous that I have a panic attack right there in the store. But if you’re with me, and we’re wearing wigs and such I might be able to handle it. You’re such a kick!!!
We could do it on halloween when everyone is in costume. Maybe we could get a bunch of vegans across the nation to do it as well. perfect day is halloween..hmnn what would we call this event—–
I like that! What about calling it ‘Veganweenies’. Get it, it’s kind of like Halloween and hot dog wieners combined. Or we could call it ‘Veganween’ and encourage vegans to do any kind of vegan prank they want to on Halloween. I think this could really be something Ivonne!!
I like Veganween–and pranks are allowed on Halloween, as long as we don’t hurt anyone. Yes, I think it could be something as well.
Cheers to that!!
If that were the case I would have been vegan long ago!
Haha – me too!!
Someone I know said to me once “I don’t think about where meat comes from, because I like eating it. If I thought about it, I wouldn’t be able to eat it”. I imagine labels like that would make it harder for people to disconnect between what they’re eating and where it came from.
What an interesting thing for someone to say to you! I think there would be a lot more vegetarians in the world if we were more connected to our food. So sad that we’re not. Hopefully we’re helping to make changes in a positive direction. Thanks for your comment! Celeste 🙂
