I dare to ask him!!! šŸ˜‰ hahahahahha!

  2. This was the most ridiculous questions I got when I was vegetarian and then vegan. Where do people think herbivores that they eat get the protein to make the meat? Duh.

I had the question asked today … AGAIN!!! *sigh*
As for the strong-looking fellow in the photo … the only time he had milk was from his mom! šŸ˜‰

    • Hi Carmen! Thanks so much for your thoughts. And I’m guessing you know this, but I had the pleasure of meeting your daughter in person recently. She’s really great! I love that both of you are bloggers and that you support each other. It warms my heart to see this! Both of you are also wonderful in supporting other bloggers, like myself! I guess what I’m trying to say is thanks for all of your support Carmen – I appreciate it! Celeste šŸ™‚

  4. Aw, that’s a cute photo!

“The only protein I need from you, is when I tear your arms and legs off and beat you with em!!” šŸ˜‰ Great post! I love gorillas!

  6. I saw this picture the other day – would be handy to have as a little card to hand out to people in response to that question! [IMG][/IMG]

(Gulp!) I guess I will take his word for it. šŸ™‚

Saw this on Honk if You’re Vegan. It’s funny because it’s the number one question that people ask vegans. The Gorilla is also my number one answer. Wise vegans know that “protein” is an artificial concept created by the meat and dairy industry to promote its products via a deceptive “nutritional” pyramid. It’s so perfect because here you have the strongest beast in the jungle & he’s a fruitarian. His favorite menu consists of leaves, flowers, roots and fruit.
