I like this quote of Thich Nhat Hanh. He is one of my favorite authors. I want to say thanks for being able to share a few days with you and Paul in quaint Port Townsend, elegant Victoria BC and cosmopolitan Vancouver. It was wonderful to spend time exploring the beauty and diversity of the cities and also explore vegan restaurants. By the way Dad and I went to Capilano Suspension Bridge park today and I walked across without much difficulty but Sheldon was terrified and Dad had to get help to carry him off of the bridge. It was a beautiful setting in the forest with paths on wooden board walks through the forest. A gem that that in spite of the rain was worth the admission price. We also visited Howe Sound where we camped 25 years ago with Mark and Michelle. it was still as beautiful as we remembered. Now they also have two cabins built in 2010 in honor of the Olympics where you can stay in comfort with a kitchen and satellite TV which is my current idea of camping. It is also right on Howe Sound right by the water. Hope you had a good ride back to Seattle today and weren’t to bothered by the rain. Peace, joy and love in all that you do.

    • Hi Mom! I’m surprised that you guys walked across the Capilano Suspension Bridge on Saturday. Paul and I thought for sure you guys would skip it due to the rain. I guess you guys are die hard travelers! I’m sure it was fabulous and beautiful despite the weather, however. I was also surprised that you brought Sheldon when you said that you didn’t want to bring him on the bridge. It sounds like that didn’t turn out well at all – I guess you’ll have a story to share when you get home. Anyway, Paul and I really enjoyed traveling with you guys too. We had a lot of fun! I especially loved Stanley Park – it’s such a stunning place. We had fun on our last day in Seattle too. Paul splurged and got us a 4-star hotel downtown. It was great for our last night because after dinner we were tired stayed in our comfortable hotel room and watched the movie 42 – The Jackie Robinson Story. It was a great movie!! Love, Celeste šŸ™‚
