Jeff Peters has a great writing style, and this post is something that all vegans can relate to.

Thank you for sharing! This was a great read, and I definitely see that mentality a lot around even my vegetarian friends.
I know – I see the mentality around my friends too! Thanks so much for stopping by Jessie, I appreciate it! Celeste:)
My biggest problem is that my friends all say I’m getting too skinny. So what’s wrong with weighing the same as I did 25 years ago when I was 43, strong fit and healthy? Nothing! They are just used to being around plump people. Let’s remember, though, that not everyone dies of a heart attack or cancer from being overweight. So, I don’t challenge them, I just try to set an example.
My husband has the same problem! Although in my husband’s case, I think he is a bit on the thin side. Although he had a few pounds to lose before we went vegan, he lost a lot more than a few. He’s trying to gain some weight back by eating more nuts.
I believe that setting an example is powerful. Several of my family members are now following a vegan diet after seeing how much weight my husband and I lost and how our blood pressure and cholesterol levels have improved. Great to hear from you!! Celeste:)
