Fabulous Vegan Mother’s Day Gift Ideas!

My mom emailed me a couple of days ago and asked me not to send her a Mother’s Day gift this year. She said, I’ve already got 6 wonderful kids, and that’s all I need.

Did I listen? No way! I can’t go a year without giving my mom a Mother’s Day gift. After all, she’s been there for me through so much and continues to support me even now. I appreciate what she does for me like how she calls me just to see how I am and reads my blog despite the fact that she’s not vegan.

Besides, my husband and I already sent his mom vegan cupcakes from Bev’s Bakery for Mother’s Day, so I can’t skip out on my mom. It wouldn’t feel right.

So I spent some time today searching for a vegan-friendly gift for my mom. I found some fabulous stuff and wanted to share.

Fabulous Vegan Mother’s Day Gift Ideas!

Artisan Vegan Truffles

What mom wouldn’t love a box of Artisan Vegan Truffles from Allison’s Gourmet. This 20-piece box comes with Orange Blossom, Coconut Joy, Vanilla Velvet and Raspberry Blush truffles. Yum!!

Vegan Gourmet Cashew Brittle

Vegan Gourmet Cashew Brittle in an elegant gold gift box is perfect for nut-loving moms. You can order it from Chocolate.com.

Vegan Mother’s Day Gift Basket

If you want to give your mom something healthy, what about this Mother’s Day Gift Basket from Well Baskets. It’s filled with dried fruits, veggie snacks and nuts.

Glass Gem Earrings

Does your mom love bright, juicy colors? Then she’ll be delighted to get a pair of glistening Glass Gem Earrings from Laura Bee Designs.

Joyful Vegan Necklace

Is your mom a joyful vegan? Then let her share this with the world with this lovely necklace from The Compassionate Cook.

Melinda Vegan Leather Purse

Has your mom’s handbag seen better days? Why not keep her from buying leather and give her a vegan leather purse from Bag Madness.

Give a PETA Virtual Gift

If your mom already has everything she needs, then give her a gift that helps another. Through PETA, you can give your mom a variety of “virtual gifts” that help animals in need. For $20.00, for example, you can help keep baby elephants out of the circus and with their mothers. All of PETA’s “virtual gifts” allow you to personalize an e-card to send to your mom.

I’m not going to tell you what I got my mom because since she reads my blog, that would spoil the surprise.

To all you mom’s out there – I want to wish you a very happy Mother’s Day!!

I love Christy Robinson jewellery! I have the ‘cruelty free’ bunny necklace!

    • Hi Poppy! I’ve seen the ‘cruelty free’ bunny necklace – it’s really cool! I’ve actually been thinking about getting it. Thanks so much for stopping by – I always appreciate your comments. And, by the way, I just signed up for Twitter. I haven’t sent my first tweet yet, but I will soon. Celeste:)

      • Poppy says:

I never take it off! They’re good quality too, I’ve had mine at least 2 years and it’s never broken. It’s probably a good thing there’s only a limited variety of her stuff available here in the UK or I’d spend my rent on jewellery!
Look forward to following you on Twitter. Have you done the publicize thing so that your blog posts are automatically tweeted? Poppy

    • I didn’t do the publicize thing on Twitter – I still have to play around and figure out what Twitter is all about. I’ll probably do that this weekend. I’ll start following you for sure too!! Celeste:)

      • Poppy says:

When you’re ready to do it, go to your WordPress dashboard, down to settings then sharing and the publicise options are there. Then every time you post, it’s automatically tweeted from your blog so you don’t have to manually type it. Hope that helps, have fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Thanks Poppy!

  2. Great post! Lots of lovely ideas. And it made me crave chocolate in a big way. ๐Ÿ™‚

In the spirit of Mother’s Day, I’ll pass this along in case you missed it…and article on non-human animal mothers by Veg News. They are all amazing stories, but I was especially moved (moo-ved) by the cow story. Shocking, I know! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks so much for the link!!! I always love it when you send me stuff like this cowgirl. I just read the stories and I was especially moo-ved  (ha!) by the cow story too. The world needs to hear theses stories! Celeste:)

  3. Jeanne Allen says:

Cool earrings! Tried the cupcakes you and Paul send to my mother. They were awesome!

    • Hey Jeanne!   I’m so glad you liked the cupcakes!! Hopefully Paul and I will get to taste something from Bev’s when we come out in September. Hey, we spoke with your mom tonight and she tells us that you’ve lost weight girl. That’s wonderful! I’m so glad that you’re working hard to get healthy. Keep it up – you’re doing great!! Celeste:)

Thanks for my vegan Mother’s Day gift. Love peanut butter cups and cookies.

  5. Maria says:

Hi Celeste! I love reading this but I really wanted to know what gift you sent to your mom. I will have to ask her :). Have a wonderful day! I enjoy reading your posts!

    • Hi Maria! I’m so excited that you started following my blog! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I considered giving my mom the truffles, but I decided not to. Instead, I put together a vegan movie gift box for her with movie tickets an some vegan movie treats (you know how much my parents love going to the movies). Say “Hi” to Mark and the boys for me. Hugs! Celeste:)

      • Maria says:

Thank you Celeste! I will tell the boys you say Hi. I love reading your blog. It reminds me so much of a Gluten Free Casein Free cook book I used for years when I had the boys on the diet. The author had a personal story before introducing every recipe. That book was very special to me. Your blogs are beautifully written. I cant wait to read your book!

      • You’re such a sweetheart Maria and very much appreciated!! Celeste:)
