Peaches and Greens Smoothie

Image

I’m on a continuing quest to create great-tasting green smoothies to get my sister-in-law hooked on them. Today I whipped up this sweet peach smoothie that I have no doubt she’ll love. Here’s the recipe:

Peaches and Greens Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup almond milk

1 to 11/2 cups frozen peaches

1 banana

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 to 2 handfuls spinach

2 dates

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.

Note: This recipe works best in a high-speed blender like a Vitamix.

  1. Ally says:

Sounds yummy. Peaches are in season here (still… Just!), so I could use fresh ones.

  2. I’ve never tried this with fresh peaches, but I’m sure that makes it even better! Of course then I’d use a frozen banana – I like my smoothies to taste shake-like. Thanks for your comment Ally!
